About

Rachelle Anslyn is the founder of Soma Sound Sanctuary, where sound, somatic awareness, and restorative experiences invite people to come home to a body that feels good to be in.

Her work draws on more than 20 years of experience in bodywork, coaching, teaching, and embodiment, with a background spanning psychology, women’s studies, nutrition, yoga, intimacy, and ceremonial practice. She recently completed her sound healing training and is currently training in somatic therapy.

A profound experience in Egypt helped shape her vision for the sanctuary. While lying in the sarcophagus in the King’s Chamber of the Great Pyramid, Rachelle felt her body return to a remarkable state of ease, openness, and vitality. The experience deepened her curiosity about the relationship between architecture, resonance, and the body and how a space can influence what we feel within it. VAVE Nidra has been the closest she has come to experiencing that same quality of restoration again.

At Soma Sound Sanctuary, Rachelle brings this curiosity together with attentive, personal care. Through sound, bodywork, immersive wellness technology, and thoughtfully created retreats, she offers space to release tension, settle into yourself, and rediscover rest, pleasure, and aliveness.
